Italy in Southern Europe has the shape of a boot which is located in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea. By land it borders to Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland and France. Italy is known for its cuisine, beautiful coasts, the former Roman Empire and the very valuable art cities. Italy has the largest number of UNESCO World Heritage sites in the world, located throughout the country. The Italian fine food is world famous. Pizza and pasta are the large well-known specialities, but certainly not the only one who can bring the taste in ecstasy. Coffee among others. In no country in the world, coffee is taken so seriously as here. Espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, caffe grande ... Go ahead and discover your favorite coffee. Rome, the "eternal city", is the capital of Italy and full of remnants from the Roman antiquity. The historic city centre is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The Italian capital attracts millions of tourists from all over the world. Famous sights include the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain.
